The Takiyans is a dynamic organization founded in September 2015 by alumni of Taki Boys and Taki Girls schools, driven by a shared commitment to societal welfare. Formed with the exclusive membership of ex-students, the organization officially launched on Teachers' Day 2015, receiving strong support from educators. Unlike traditional alumni associations, The Takiyans focused on uplifting marginalized communities, gaining social recognition and becoming a government-registered entity in 2018. Rooted in the spirit of Taki School, The Takiyans embodies a collective dedication to compassion, community, and meaningful change.
A dynamic organization founded on a crisp September morning in 2015 by few alumni of Taki Boys and Taki Girls during a conference call. United by a shared commitment to societal welfare, they envisioned an organization where members would be exclusively ex-students of their alma mater. This vision materialized on Teachers' Day, 2015, as they passionately presented their plan to the teachers, receiving overwhelming support and enthusiasm.
In a departure from traditional alumni associations, The Takiyans embarked on a mission to uplift the marginalized sections of society across various domains. Their dedication and impact led to social recognition, becoming a government-registered organization in 2018 under the Society Registration Act of the Government of West Bengal.
